Hope Thweatt is an emerging artist residing in Auburn, Alabama. Upon graduation in 2021 with a BFA in painting, the artist quickly realized how important art was to her daily life. Her current work focuses on empowering women in their normality after seeing and having felt the effects beauty standards have had on women. While these issues are part of her work presently, Hope also feels inspired to capture the moments within nature and people that go unnoticed on a day to day basis. The artist has displayed these bodies of work throughout the country and looks forward to what is to come! Upon graduating, Hope has received an apprenticeship with well-known artist Catie Radney as she also continues in her own work.
